Oakland Gems![]() "Oakland Gems", (With numerous community participants), (detail view), 1995, Nova acrylics on plywood construction panels, eight feet high by five hundred feet wide. Twenty-five of Oakland's architectural historic treasures were painted in a stained glass window motif on the temporary construction fencing around what is now the Elihu Harris State Building at 14th and Clay Streets in downtown Oakland.
